Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging activities aligned with our curriculum to support children’s learning and development.
  • Assist children in meeting developmental milestones, complete observations, and help with schoolwork or remote learning as needed.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children and their families.
  • Actively supervise children during activities and ensure their safety at all times.
  • Maintain regular communication with children, parents, and staff to address the needs of the children in our care.
  • Adapt to changing schedules based on enrollment needs and fill in for teachers as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in any capacity (teaching, childcare, tutoring, etc.) (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with early childhood education and child development
  • Ability to create and follow curriculum/lesson plans
  • Comfortable interacting with parents, guardians, and staff
  • Experience with positive discipline techniques
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • High School Diploma / GED

Experience Requirements

  • Clean background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification (must be completed within 90 days of hire)
